The St Catherine of Siena international Novitiate is situated in Lusaka, Zambia and serves the purpose of formation of young women from Kenya, Zambia and Zimbabwe in their second stage of initial formation. The novitiate program comprises a variety of lessons including spirituality, human development and home management enabling the novices to grow in their relationship with God, with one another in a multi-cultural community, and with the people they interact with in their apostolate. It offers a platform to empower them to become committed, responsible and effective Dominican missionaries ready to be sent on mission.
