Pray with us 
At Gossops Green, we invite all who can join us for Holy Mass on Tuesday mornings at 7.30 am and for Adoration and Vespers (Evening Prayer) on Sundays at 5.30 pm.
At other times, and if you cannot visit Gossops Green, we welcome you to pray with us wherever you are.
Prayers of praise and thanks
In our prayers, we join the whole Church in praising and thanking God for his goodness, love and mercy. If you would like to join us in this you could say Psalm 100 (Acclaim Yahweh, all the earth …)
Prayers of petition (requests)
We also hold up to God the big intentions of the Church and of the world, and offer prayers of petition to God that in his goodness and mercy he may help us.
If you would like to be part of this, please say:
a) God, our loving Father, help us, your children, to develop a spirit of love and forgiveness like your Son, and to work for peace in our own hearts, our families, countries and the world at large.
b) Jesus, you knew the ups and downs of life: joys, sorrow, rejection, disappointments and success; walk with us and strengthen us as we go through these different phases.
c) Jesus, you brought Good News, you healed the sick, you fed the hungry; give us your grace to bring your Good News to others, and help and consolation to all who suffer.
d) Holy Spirit, we ask you to renew us as individuals and as Church in our longing and courage to live a Christ-like life.
e) Loving Father, we pray for all who have died, that they will find a home in your forgiving and loving heart. Lord, in your mercy hear our prayer.
Sum up these and all your personal intentions with the prayer that Jesus taught us: Our Father.
